Ontario horses, there were three; Who went to Alberta to see, The best of the rest And be put to the test Over mountains, through rivers and trees.There once was a horse named Chloe; Who's mistress exclaimed "Whooee", When she saw all the sights As they climbed up the heights To gather a view of the Rockies.There once was a horse named Tess; Who did her best and no less, As she climbed all the hills and waded deep rills Just to receive her mistress' caress.There once was a horse named Riptide; Who clung to the mountainside, His mistress got dizzy But not in a tizzy and they completed the whole darn ride.Those three Ontario horses bold, Were not successful in obtaining the gold; But they did their best And completed the test The Rockies, 75 miles all tolled.
